Menowell® SALVIA contains plant-based sage extract as active ingredient, which is standardised to rosmarinic acid. The benefits of sage (Salvia officinalis) on women’s health are known for a long time for its natural body-balancing effect. It supports the wellbeing of middle-aged women f.ex. by reducing sweating effectively.
Changes in hormone levels make hypotalamus, responsible for the body’s thermoregulation, to vary body temperature occasionally. Sage helps to regulate body temperature as it has hormone balancing effects.
Menopause symptoms are very common. Over 80 % of the women in menopause age suffer from autonomic nervous system symptoms, such as night sweats and hot flushes. Stressful lifestyle may also increase the menopause symptoms.
Diet is also known to have good effects in menopausal symptoms. It is recommended to follow a diet that doesn’t cause big blood sugar fluctuations and to avoid high amounts of coffee and alcohol. It is also important to maintain a good intestinal microbe flora.

Dosage: 1 tablet per day. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
